About Our School

St. Theresa Catholic School has proudly served the children and families in our community for over 65 years. The preschool program was established in 1985.  STELA (St. Theresa Early Learning Academy) provides students with a quality early start in their education. The commitment is to prepare young 3 and 4 year olds for a seamless transition into kindergarten.  This is done by supporting their needs through a cooperative Christian environment that guides them toward independence, self-regulation, and respect for others. STELA is a non-discriminatory educational program that serves children of any race, color, ethnicity, or creed.
The goal is to prepare students for a continued education here at St. Theresa Catholic School and beyond. Integrating technology throughout the curriculum enables the academy students to build the necessary skills to participate in the Renaissance Learning programs being utilized in the K-8th. At this level we begin to instill the values set forth by our Catholic teachings. A structured, safe, consistent, and nurturing environment has been established for our youngest of students to grow and achieve. Each child's learning style is identified and embraced as we are able to implement developmental, individual, and culturally relevant preschool experiences. The classroom spaces are sectioned into various learning centers that promote independent and cooperative learning opportunities in all subject areas.
